I love shopping here!! Friendly staff and great selection of fresh fish. I prefer to come here instead of the market. Also appreciate that they allow me to purchase scraps that I love to use in other dishes/stocks. Many shops today don't sell them like they use too. Not knowing that people can find uses for them and make cash off an item they would throw away anyway. ??Tried a few other shops and have been turned off by rotten fish being sold as fresh. So grateful Philly Lobster and Fish does not treat customers that way.
If only we had discovered this place sooner! Getting sushi from a fish shop is always a good idea bc it's all so fresh. The hot food looks like ordinary prepared food you might find at a fancy deli, but don't be fooled. The fish cakes and roasted potatoes are unbelievably delicious and everything but ordinary. We've also found their small assortment of fruits and veg to be fresh and reasonably priced. And of course, the fish itself is reliably excellent in freshness and taste.
The freshest fish, produce selection, and home made prepared foods. Skip Whole Foods next door, Philly Lobster Fish is so much better for fresh fish seafood, and better priced too. Their service is excellent, real knowledge of the fish and products. A special treat, their Sushi chef is top notch. Highly, highly recommended.
Consistently fresh goods. Never been disappointed. And their crab cakes are the best around. Perfectly seasoned...perfect balance of lump to back fin. You can find lumpier but you can 't find tastier. Nice fresh veggies to accompany your seafood purchase is a bonus.

Best quality, absolutely fresh and fair value for Main Line Phila. Skate wings, crabmeat and shrimp are favorites.
