I recently visited this restaurant that offers occasional discounts for multiple purchases, so my friend and I decided to buy two pork pies. I particularly enjoyed the pork pie with cranberry filling, which has always been a favorite of mine. It was delicious and very well-made. A few days later, I returned for another pork pie with cranberry, although there was no discount that day. I also tried the steak and kidney pie, which was decent but not outstanding. Overall, I would recommend trying the pork pie with cranberry at this establishment.
I visit Philpotts regularly for my lunch and each time the food is perfect and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I'm gluten free and they are always very accommodating, ensuring my food is prepared as safely as possible which is really appreciated! I'd reccomend to anyone else with a gluten intolerance (or anyone wanting a really nice lunch) salads and gluten free bread is available.
A first rate sandwich shop who thoroughly deserves their immaculate local reputation for quality and value for money. They have a wide range of fillings and options to suit most needs and requirements and an ideal place to pop and get a bite to eat for lunch. Would highly recommend.
A very comprehensive menu of sandwich/baguette filling on view to choose from. Quick, efficient service . Homemade gluten free brownies available. Hot and cold drinks available. We had pastrami baguette and prawn and salad granary sandwich. Some seating outside. Very good price.

Saturday afternoon with the majority of pubs/restaurants full to bursting, we chanced upon Philpotts and were very impressed. Additional seating down the lane was brilliant

Really tasty sandwiches, freshly made with plenty of options. Excellent, friendly service, great value for money.
The salmon salad at this restaurant is excellent. The staff is superb and friendly. I would highly recommend it.
