I used to absolutely love this place and always took people here when they were visiting from out of town. They apparently tripled their prices and now a bowl of soup and an appetizer cost as much as going to damn Nobu smh. If it’s gonna be $50 for two bowls, the atmosphere and service at least needs to be comparable to the fancy places who charge this much. I dont even pay that much for pho in Beverly Hills. How is broth and noodles that expensive?! Also, they are no longer open 24 hours like they used to be. If they were still open super late like they used to be that would justify the prices a bit more but they close early now.
The portion was small, even though I ordered large pho #9. The broth was so bland that I had to squeeze sriracha sauce in the soup like crazy. They were very scarce on meats, and one single meatball I found in the mall tasted rotten, so I had to spit it out. I don’t know how they stay in business, especially in Gardena, where there must be so many Vietnamese restaurants to compete with. I should’ve picked up the sign that it is in such a weird location, surrounded by so many Korean businesses. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Once upon a time this place was great. Over the years it’s been spiraling down hill. Make sure you ask for the prices when ordering because the price you see on the menu is not the price you will be charged. THEY ARE SCAMMING. Robbing their customers. Food is mediocre now. There are plenty of other places to go to. Don’t come here.
