THE pho joint. 4.5 <br/ <br/ The place is pretty well kept, just tad bit crampy. We had to queue in a line before being served. The staffs were nice and menu were displayed on both sides of the wall so it was easy to read. Food also came quite promptly and it was easy to get the staff's attention. It's not really a place to stay for long however, as they will take your plates away once you finished, due to the line outside. <br/ <br/ Definitely the best pho I've had. I had their beef combination which came with rare beef, brisket, tendon, meatballs and tripe. FOOD 5/5: I had a medium bowl of pho with rare beef and brisket. Firstly, noodles were great, plentiful, soft, slimy, “slurpable”, really nothing to fault. The broth was not too salty and beef was also cut slenderly, rare and the brisket had good streaks of fat. <br/ <br/ SERVICE 5/5: food came out in less than 5 minutes. Waiter also did well to confirm orders and provide the usual bean sprouts and chilli very quickly.<br/ <br/ ATMOSPHERE: 4/5: seating is big enough, as are the tables for two bowls. Just a tiny bit loud and busy at lunch.
I visited this restaurant for lunch and it was very crowded. We had to wait a little while before getting a table. The pho, grilled chicken and pork on rice, and prawn spring rolls were delicious. It was the best pho and grilled chicken on rice I have ever had. The flavors were fresh and the portions were generous. We also tried the Vietnamese iced coffee, which was strong but refreshing.
Been coming here since 2011, and i gotta say its one of the best if not the best Pho restaurant in Melbourne. its a bit cramped inside and the queues are long at the best of times but in general the wait is not long. Their soup base is delightful, non greasy and full of flavour and the best part is they seem to be very consistent with both taste and quality. Réservez une table maintenant
This may be the best pho in Australia.<br/ <br/ The soup is delicious and clear.<br/ The noodles have a nice bite to then.<br/ The rare beef is sliced perfectly and served flat so it cooks evenly.<br/ Plentiful tripe, tendon and brisket in the special.<br/ Honestly never seen the combination of everything being perfect anywhere else in Australia.
My favorite pho spot in Springvale. There is usually a line during lunch and peak hours but it's worth the wait. The prices are cheap and the portions are large. The broth is usually perfect and there is plenty of meat. I usually get a medium size to share between two people. The restaurant can be a bit cramped and the service is decent.
Favourite pho restaurant on the Eastside. The pho here is very flavoursome and fresh- fresh in that it doesn 't have that 'MSG ' taste to it. Very authentic flavours.<br/ <br/ This place is always packed. But if you do go when there 's a line outside, I would still recommend to line up as the wait is usually never too long.
Favourite place for pho in Melbourne. Can always trust this place to serve a delicious bowl of pho. The broth is lovely but maybe just a little salty because I get thirsty afterwards.
