Pho Lan Asian Bistro is a fantastic place for first-timers looking to try delicious pho! It was my first time trying pho and I had a great experience. The pho here comes with a variety of meats and vegetables that can be customized to your liking (I even added a quail egg to mine!). Each table receives a selection of sauces and add-ons for the pho and other entrees, like fish sauce and bean sprouts. The waiter was very helpful in explaining my options, and the menu clearly lists all the pho toppings in Vietnamese and English (like Bò Viên - Beef Meatball), making it very beginner-friendly. The food at this restaurant is consistently great, with quick preparation and secure packaging. I often travel for about an hour to bring orders of pho to my mom's house. I recommend asking for the noodles to be uncooked so they can be cooked later to avoid getting soggy. Despite this, the pho is always delicious. The broth is flavorful and clear, without being greasy. The service is always friendly. This Pho restaurant has quickly become one of my top choices. Today I tried the brisket pho and dumplings, but the fried rice and general tso chicken are also amazing.
The service at this restaurant is quick and reliable. My favorite server is Emily - always fast and in a cheerful mood. She has recommended some great new meal options in the past. Today, she suggested I try a hazelnut coffee mocha with popping pearls. It was cold and tasted like a shake, but it was delicious!
Everyone at my table of 8 ordered something different. Pho x3 all different kinds, fried rice, steamed rice, a spring roll assortment. It was all delicious everyone was satisfied. Clean place friendly fast service. It was busy when we dined in, service was still fast excellent.
