Nestled in Vienna 's Fleischmarkt 16 courtyard, Pho Linh offers a vibrant taste of Vietnam. It 's clearly popular, so reservations are highly recommended, even on weekdays! The staff were exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome. Be aware it 's cash-only, and the restrooms are in a separate building across the courtyard. Also, the actual entrance might slightly differ from Google Maps, so referring to photos will help you find it easily. Besides a starter like summer rolls with Tofu and a sticky rice dessert, there were no vegan dishes on the menu. The veggie main courses include fish sauce, which according to the staff cannot be replaced, because it is either used instead of salt and spices or is already mixed in the curry. However, there was one dish where it was possible to replace the fish sauce after all, and one dish without fish sauce that was not on the menu. This restaurant is God’s gift to mankind. Had the best pho of my life here. The Thai basil crispy duck baked banana dessert were also divine. We really appreciated our server, who managed to fit us in before the influx of reservations!!! 10/10. I would come back to Vienna just for this restaurant.
