Perhaps the only Vietnamese on the road, it is good enough for us. Wasn't that authentic of a Vietnamese joint (which in Flemington n Homebush have) but if you walk in with that mindset, it is something I'd pay money for. Lacking the usual crispy lemongrass chilli paste Viet shops have on the side and missing the 10% extra in taste of food, this place is fantastic for its air-conditioning as well as it's relatively quiet atmosphere; conducive for couples with kids. In the two other burbs above, don't expect to have a stress free lunch on weekends. Will we go back? Oh yes.
This is the second time we have tried Phoo and I can honestly say as a small business you don't want to hurt them but sorry guys you need to learn how to cook!The food is far from Vietnamese and more closely resembles the 1980's oily sickly Chinese takeaway Australians become use to.Every dish was dripping in oil --- so much oil that's all you could taste, plus you might be able to get away with using frozen vegetables in all your dishes but seriously guys telling people to try "Traditional" Vietnamese spring rolls then presenting frozen fast food **** is a joke.
I remember visiting this restaurant back in 2010 when I was in Sydney and now that I live permanently close to the restaurant I make a visit atleast twice a month. They have amazing customer service and really delicious food. My Personal favourite is the Pho Gha Noodles , Duck salad and DIY Pork rice paper rolls.Definitely worth it for the money and would recommend anyone who is looking for good vietnamese food to visit this restaurant.
No particular reason, was just in the mood for pho. Decided not to go to our usual and we found ourselves here. I always like to start with a positive where possible. Generous serve. cheap, awesome silky noodles. However the pho broth was soooooo oily, and very bland it really wasn't enjoyable. Actually struggled to eat it. Service was good, unobtrusive and polite. But that is insignificant when the food is sub standard

We have had lunch here on several occasions and have always found the food to be tasty and well priced. The interior is a bit dated but the servive is friendly and food arrives reasonably quickly. My wife usually has their soups or vermicelli and I gave their seafood dishes.
This is our favourite local restaurant. Family friendly and the food is always reliably good. This is also the place we bring our family and friends to when they visit, whether locals or from overseas. Staff is always very helpful. Great value for money too!
Well a friend of mine took me here on a Saturday night. We both love trying new foods and are not strangers to Vietnamese having been there a few times. As I looked over the menu I could see many Chinese style dishes, with many...More
They get the food out quick, we pre-order most of the time. We go at least twice a month, food has never let us down. The price is great and I love the crispy egg noodles.

Long term customer, love the authentic Vietnamese, everything on the menu is yum. Great service and prices. Our go to for when no one wants to cook.
We have now gone here a few times & food is always consistence services with a smile. Its not very busy during the day but gets buys at night.
