In the past, we used to explore a variety of dishes when we dined in on weekends, but my love for Banh Mi means we often end up ordering the same—Banh Mi, spring rolls, and taro bubble tea. We might throw in something extra just to complement the meal.
After moving to Memphis, I had a serious craving for Banh Mi (having originally come from Atlanta), especially since my experience in Virginia left much to be desired—they were overpriced, tiny, and just not good. So, finding a place here where I could indulge in Banh Mi without breaking the bank was essential. Here, they are just $3.99! While they may not be as large as those in Atlanta, they are still affordable and absolutely delicious....
One of our favorites. This is one of my husband's and my favorite restaurants. Some things are great, others underwhelming. We always have the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce and a vermicelli or rice pancake. Husband likes it topped with steamed chicken, which is very light. I like the greasier pork too, for something more flavorful. We've also enjoyed the taro bubble tea. The soups and the lo mein are too bland for our taste though.<br/ <br/ I guess the service is a bit slow and sometimes gruff, but that's never bothered us. We actually find the service quite friendly underneath the gruffness and like supporting what seems to be a family business.
Absolutely dine here! Everything is delicious! I've tried numerous dishes from Pho Saigon, and I haven't been disappointed yet. A few of my favorites include the beef stir-fry with crispy yellow noodles, the chicken noodle soup with white noodles, lemongrass chicken served with vermicelli noodles, egg rolls accompanied by fish sauce, rice pancakes stuffed with Asian sausage, and any of the bubble teas. My friends have also highly recommended the sandwiches and catfish dishes at Pho Saigon.
Wonderful Pho!!!!. This is the first time i have ever eaten at Pho Saigon. The restuarant has been there over 40 years and owned by the same family as I understand. The inside is clean and nicely decorated. The service was friendly and quick. The soup was fantastic. I got the Mi Tom which is seafood yellow noodle soup. It was HOT and hit the spot. They have a long list of different soups and traditional Vietnamese dishes. I highly recommend them.

Great Chicken Salad. I have not had the Pho here, but I highly recommend the chicken salad and the shrimp salad. Both are excellent and not available at Saigon Le. The hot and sour shrimp soup is fantastic. I think the shrimp spring rolls are better at Saigon Le but OK here. Atmosphere is minimal, service is good when during off peak times. Overall, some times better than others, but highly recommended.
I used to make a special trip across town just for their Pho. The broth was always light, not overly salty, and had a deep flavor that suggested it had simmered for hours. However, the broth now is dark, too salty, and tastes like it came straight from a box. What happened to the original owners? And why does this place still get to use the same name??? Food: 2/5.
The Banh Mi sandwich special listed on the table card is a must-try. There are also several other excellent options, including the pho and the chicken with ginger and onions. However, the service can be inconsistent, and there always seem to be too many flies around. Despite these drawbacks, the food is just too good to pass up.
I’ve eaten there many times for the price and the area best place to eat. I had a shrimp and vegetables water only three people there. Lynn helped me choose my dinner I love this place you will too!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The Thai tea here is among the best I've ever had! The food was delicious as well. Food rating: 5/5.
After the owner changed, you can no longer feel the deep taste of the broth here. They don't use fresh ingredients.
