Best Pho we've had...recommended by a friend who is Vietnamese, we didn't realize there was this Pho restaurant tucked in Riverside. The surrounding plaza is mediocre but once you get inside wow wow wow. The owner has his artwork all over the walls and when you walk in it's like a gallery that is amazing. Now back to the Pho, the broth is the best broth I have ever tasted. I've been to so many Pho places and this does not even compare. The grilled pork (and I don't regularly eat pork) is so flavorful and I cannot get enough. The texture of the pork is soft and buttery and it doesn't have that gamey taste pork normally has. The egg rolls are light, crispy and can choose from pork or vegetable...
I loved this place. My friend and I ordered their rare steak pho and their vegetarian spring rolls. The pho was hot and flavorful and the perfect size. In my experience a lot of places offer sizes way too small or way too big, this place was just right. The egg rolls were fried perfectly, not too greasy and packed with delicious veggies. On top of all this the decor at this place is amazing! Love the murals and small details.
This place is a hidden gem!! I love everything about it. From the decor to the well seasoned food. The music gives me an 80's rock vibe sprinkled with a lil bit of old school KISS FM days. We came for Pho but ended up with a few extra items. You definitely need to try the fried rice with a side of filet mignon and onions. FIRE!!! The service was great and I will definitely be back. New favorite spot.
I haven't been here since 2013 and the owner has changed since 2015 and made the dining room kind Na bigger my friend pick this one today Here is my breakdown less menu-only 10 items Service very attentive and polite Price reasonable 3 people, 4 meals, 3 drinks 67 Ambiance like movie poster or actor design don't know what is called) I like the vibe quite and clean. The interior of this restaurant is an experience. I have never been so entertained walking to the bathroom. The broth was some of the best I have ever had to date. The portions are awesome. The staff is very friendly. Removing a star since we ordered raw meat but it came already cooked so it was tough and we couldn't chew it. Otherwise the pho was awesome.
This was one of the nicest pho restaurants I've been to. The #13 Pho was tasty. The broth was light and didn't weigh me down afterwards. The vermicelli bowl had a good ratio of pork, egg roll and shrimp/veggies. The pork was tender and nicely charbroiled. The decor is so nice and cohesive. There is a record player in the bathroom area too. A rare gem!
Pho Star is awesome they have some of the best Pho in the area outside of Little Saigon in Westminster. Vietnamese food is definitely worth the trip and cert good for anyone looking for something new and comforting. One would have to try it and enjoy the experience of the best Hot Soup in miles.
