Phoenix Chinese Takeaway

Does exactly what it says on the tin! I had food from here this evening and I was very happy. I chose to drive there, order and wait. I parked in a residential street opposite, so no problems with convenience, the menu was simple, with a good choice of foods, and, the prices were pretty standard for a Chinese takeaway, so no issues there. The kitchen is visible from the order counter and I can honestly say that it was clean and tidy, everything was labelled and the meats were stored separate, and with fridge spaces clearly separated of cooked, from raw. We were down in Dumfries on holiday and fancied some Chinese food . I would go as far to say this was the best Chinese takeaway we’ve ever experienced. The food was delicious and the friendliness of the staff made this a very pleasing experience. I wish we lived closer to here as it would be our#1 choice . Well done ,see you next time we are down there .

After reading the reviews, we thought this restaurant would be a good choice for a takeaway in Dumfries. However, we were not impressed and did not enjoy our meal. The portion sizes seemed smaller than usual for a takeaway, and the chicken balls were more like pancakes - dense and greasy. Despite our hunger, we were disappointed with our meal.

I sampled a variety of dishes from the menu and found all of them to be excellent with a high-quality finish. The portions were generous and offered good value for the money. Very busy takeaway, Staff very friendly even under pressure!! Good selection on the menu and prices are some of the best in Dumfries. Food was excellent, piping hot and refreshingly different from other Chinese restaurants. Will definitely visit again.

Pfund is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the city. My partner Kathryn and I absolutely love coming here and would never consider going anywhere else. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is fantastic!

I went to this restaurant on Tuesday when other Chinese restaurants were closed. They had a good selection of dishes and gave helpful recommendations. Just a heads up, they only accept cash payments.

I have consistently experienced excellent service at this restaurant. The staff is friendly, the food is always hot and fresh, and I have never had trouble finding parking outside. Réservez une table maintenant
