I was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered a large portion for £3.30, but the serving size was laughably small. In fact, many other chip shops offer much larger small portions than this place's large. The price is outrageous—honestly, I could buy 4kg of potatoes for that price! To top it off, the chips themselves were terrible. I've learned my lesson, and I regret to say that they will not be getting any business from me again. Next time, I'll make the effort to go to Yeovil instead. Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10
I really wanted to give 5 stars for the food, but finding two hairs in my fish and chips completely changed my experience. It might just be a one-time issue, but it left me feeling physically sick after having to pull hair out of my mouth. If there hadn't been any hair in my meal, I would have had no complaints about the taste. It's such a shame. Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
Excellent food, fish and chips with mushy pea fritters were amazing : . Previously had Singapore noodles which were great too. I lost my wallet that day in south petherton with a lot of cash in it, when I phoned them they had found it! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
