I was searching for a dinner spot and discovered PhoLy on Google Maps. I arrived at 8 PM and experienced quick service; we were in and out in just 45 minutes, which was exactly what we needed. I ordered a small bowl of chicken pho for $13 (before tax and tip) and a beef pho, which were quite standard. I wouldn't say it was the best I've had, as it leaned more towards bland, but it was satisfying enough. The restaurant was clean, the service was very attentive, and the atmosphere was great.
Pho is truly defined by its broth, and this restaurant serves one of the most delicious broths I've tasted in Connecticut. It's my favorite spot for those days when I'm feeling unwell, recovering from a hangover, dealing with the cold, or simply unsure of what to eat! I’m always satisfied when I visit. This restaurant is a true hidden gem in Vernon! I've had some of the best Vietnamese food here. The dishes are exceptional, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the ambiance is spotlessly clean. Their grilled pork chop and marinated grilled beef are both tender and full of flavor. Plus, their banh mi is fantastic too!
