After looking around, my family decided on this place. I didn 't want to hit the same place, so we went to a distant restaurant. I 'm a big pho eater and a big critic on the subject. I 've had pho from MI, to NY, to CA, to LV, etc. Coming in,the place was very busy. We had to wait about 10 min. This is totally acceptable since we wanted to eat during the prime time,6-8pm. The server was quick and the food came out very fast! Crazy fast. I got a glimpse of the kitchen and they have manycooks and one bus boy. My husband is a fan of their banh mi, and he usually orders pho with lean beef and flank. I, on the other hand, almost always go for #12, which has a variety of meats. I really enjoy their soup base, though I’ve noticed they've been using a bit too much MSG lately. Additionally, I find that they tend to add too many noodles, but you can request less if you prefer. I also love their egg rolls and the broken rice platter. However, I would advise against ordering from their soup menu, as it's not the same as the pho soup menu and the soup base is rather bland. Overall, their food is quite good, and they marinate their meat really well, making it very flavorful.
I found my Bahn Mi to be quite small—more like a mini version! My friends even joked that I had already eaten half of it. The bread was denser and thicker than I like, missing the airy fluffiness I enjoy. Additionally, the pork was slightly undercooked for my liking and lacked the crispy texture I crave. Despite these shortcomings, it was still an acceptable Bahn Mi.
The food was good, and somehow it is getting worse since they moved to this new address and so is the service. It’s hit or miss kind of thing. The price has gone up as well. Saw this place on eat n go on FB so we gave it a try. We order pho, there was ton of flies and when I went to the restroom I saw them put wash bowls next to the restroom floor. My wife n kids got sick shortly after eating here. First and Last we ever eathere.
