On a positive note, their kielbasa and pierogis are still decent, which is why I’m giving them 3 stars. However, I’m not alone in my sentiments. Piast used to have long lines, especially on Saturdays, but when I visited on October 8th at 1 PM, there was only one person ahead of me.
Unfortunately, I ended up buying my usual items, but my wife, son, his girlfriend, and I were all very disappointed with most of the food. We didn’t eat much and even ended up throwing away the smoked bacon after trying it. It’s truly sad to see such a once-great place decline.
Lately the owner decided not to put any prices on any of his merchandise for speculative reasons hoping that you put into basket and pay. He knows that you will not ask anybody for prices because the people are behind counter and there is nobody to ask. I found out at home how overpriced his little cheeses were few months ago $1.50 and now $3.50. This is not the way to do business tricking people. Will never shop there unless he puts prices back where they belong!!! $14 for these four tiny cheeses. Be careful!
I'm unsure why Google adds my Review and Photos for Cas' Pierogi and Kielbasa to Piast Meats, but if they are related, I'm very grateful for the Polish Plate I ordered when the truck was at Burnt Mills Cider I'm Bedminster. The plate included pierogis w/bacon, kielbasa, cinnamon apples.
We ordered kielbasa and pierogi and it arrived still frozen and fresh. Each flavor of keilbasa was delicious as were the pierogi. We make both home made as a rule. The products were comparable to home made. Would buy them again in a pinch.

Great experience. Spotless clean, fresh food, good portions. Good variety of authentic Polish dishes served by hospitable Polish people. Make sure to check their cheese and bakery sections. I love it! I was just over, but recommended it!
I just had the meat pierogies, and they were wonderful! I used to live on Somerset Street, and it's been fifty years since I've been out of Garfield. My daughter ordered some gifts online, and it was such a delightful surprise!
This is where I would go for Kielbasa that has some taste and not like the hot dog Kielbasa in the supermarkets. Looked at my bill and found out they charge for using a credit card. If I knew that would have used cash.
I ordered online and received the Easter dinner and it arrived still frozen. Packing was excellent. Will order again!

The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable, and everything is always prepared fresh.
Best meats, cheeses, cooked foods and a whole lot more. Wonderful place.
