Piccanti Cafe - Bar - Ristorante

We just wanted to grab a quick bite here while visiting Lüneburg. The service was sooo slow, despite the restaurant being only moderately filled. We waited a long time to order, close to leaving again actually, then waited a long time for drinks and an eternity for the food. And then waited again for something that was forgotten. The food was, as expected for a restaurant that offers Schnitzel, Burger, Pasta and Pizza, only just acceptable but not anywhere near good. Bruschetta was soggy, the Schnitzel not quite finished (and frosted, but again expected). The best thing were the fries, crispy outside and fluffy inside. BE AWARE: TOURIST TRAP They advertise the price of the dishes without the price of the sides which are charged separately even when not ordered. We thought a schnitzel for £11.90 was a good deal but then we were charged £4.20 for the fries on the side!!! Asked for a plain burger and got the most expensive avocado one. The cherry on the top: jar of tap water £5.50!!! AVOID!

We had breakfast there, the portions were very small in comparison to the price of the meal, we payed 17,50€ for two people and had to order more because the portion was too small. I also found a hair in my food, two times! The eggs were great though, and the area of the restaurant is also good. I want to recommend the restaurant but i would not, not with my experience.

Really beautiful restaurant. Our waitress was really friendly and the food was so delicious! In this restaurant they serve a unique long pizza which you can cut with a pair of scissors but there are also many other dishes to choose from. Definitely worth a visit! Réservez une table maintenant

The Schnitzel I ordered was honestly not so good, however the pizza my wife ordered was good as were the appetizers. Five stars for friendly staff, quick service, and a clean comfortable environment. I’d go back, and would go with a pizza. No complaints here.

The staff is very unfriendly, it took them 1 hour to bring me my pizza, and they were very unfriendly, the worst experience ever, I will never return to this resturant again!

Very nice and friendly staff. The burger I got, was the best I have ever had very delicious. Charming place both inside and outside.
