I arrived tonight on a Tuesday night and tried to get a table outside and was told no as a single only inside seating available. So I went inside and was provided a menu but no one came back not even for a drink order...as I was ready for some wine after a hard work day. I waited another minutes and left! Too bad as I'm in N Bamberg for business per year and stay at least weeks per stay and work for a Bamberg based company close by so I will tell them too.

So I went in and got a menu, but no one came back, not even for a drink order. since I was ready for a wein after a hard working day. I waited 10 minutes and went. Pity that I am in n bamberg for the business 4x per year and stay at least 2 weeks per stay and work for a Bamberg-based company close to, so I will also tell them.
this is our 2nd trip to bamberg and we were now 4 times in this restaurant. the menus are comprehensive with meat/fish pasta and pizza. portions are generous, and the Gorgonzola sauce is excellent, extensive wine list that fits. eating perfect. the main speaker speaks English, and is very striving to please himself, also for big money and in the warmer months. the outside area is fantastic. can regain this place high enough
this place is small (only about 7 tables), so they need to get a reservation early, but it is the best pizza I had in almost 40 years. German pizza has a very thin crust and must be eaten with a knife and fork. and this pizza crust was almost matzoh like. I have a large pizza and a big beer and the bill came to about 13 euro for such an excellent meal. do not miss this place.
