I don 't know why I 've never noticed Piccolo Gourmet before; I mean I 'm in area a lot. It wasn 't till someone told me to go, that I noticed it. But, I was hungry and a hero from Piccolo was on the menu. There was plenty of parking outside, and looking from the parking lot, at the building, I had a feeling, this place was going to be worth the trip. Inside, didn 't disappoint, it was as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside. Organized, clean, and big, that 's everything this deli slash pizzeria represents. I was recommended to sign up there customer list from one of my employees to win a free lunch. I really didn't think much about it, but guess what? I won a free lunch today. When I went in, I was greeted by a wonderful worker. The interior was beautiful and there were so many options to choose from. The place was clean and welcoming. What I would like to complicate was how helpful the cook was. This is a great place to eat for a small party or even yourself. You have a cooperation menu and a variety of choices. Last but not least, the sandwich I got today was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend this place. Go ahead, take the customer list and check it!
I was extremely disgusted when I saw two workers making out on the station where they cut our meats. It’s disgraceful. They are not clean at all and I’ve seen multiple dead flies when I bring my food home. I asked for extra napkins and the man didn’t speak English he gave me a dirty look and spit in my napkins and meat. For this I’d have to rate it zero stars but unfortunately the minimum is 1 so this will do.
Located in a shopping center with many vacant stores, Piccolo Gourmet still stands strong after 20 years of service to the community. The reason is outstanding quality food, great prices, and exceptional customer service. If you are anywhere near the NHP area, stop in for a panini, pizza, or a sandwich; all delicious. This deli is absolutely wonderful! The food is always fresh, there is a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, snacks, baked goods, and pizza options! The entire staff is super friendly and it's moderately priced which makes it even better. They've never gotten my order wrong when I order over the phone and are always prompt with the order. Would highly recommend this deli!
