I spoke with the owner, who admitted that there had been some issues with the containers and offered to replace my order. However, when I returned to pick up the new order (I made sure to bring back the original), the other owner informed me that if the bag ripped, it would no longer be their problem, and that it was my responsibility once I left the store.
I could understand if the mistake had been mine, but the faulty packaging that caused the bag to soak through with grease and tear should be their responsibility. Because of this experience, I won't be returning. Although the food is good, it's not worth the trouble, and unfortunately, the poor customer service from the owner's wife has...
I wish I could give this place a million stars! It's truly the best Italian food in all of New York City! You can really taste the love and passion in every dish, and everything is fresh and made from scratch. Each time you enter, the staff greets you with warm smiles, making you feel like part of the family. It really is the best—thank you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best of the best. Family owned and operator, Chef Maurizio and his wife are great hosts. My grandmother who has been in Fresh Meadows since the 70s, never misses the chance to go to Piccolo Sogno. Lot of great memories here. Get the Veal Parm!

The food is exceptional. I've been a regular customer for many years. During the COVID pandemic, when they couldn't have customers dine in, we supported them by ordering takeout three times a week to help keep their business going.
Always delicious and consistently fresh! The staff is exceptional. Whether you choose to order delivery or dine in, this restaurant is truly a hidden treasure. We adore everything on the menu. It's absolutely worth the wait!
