Don’t even know what to say, I feel so lucky this place is on my doorstep. Amazing, friendly and welcoming staff, amazing and attentive service, a m a z ing quality drinks! … OH, and the best pizzas I’ve had locally by far, by young James who is extremely passionate about his food for such a young age, he is so professional, they and he should be proud! Pizzas and Pornstars (the cocktail! in my local village has become my favourite thing to do! Thanks Pickles for making me feel so welcome from messaging to book to arriving in person and thanks for an amazing time, everytime.
I haven't been to Pickles in a while and have always enjoyed my visits there. However, during my recent visit, I noticed that my chair was partially broken and pointed it out before any accidents occurred. The tomatoes in my salad were soggy and had white mold growing on them, and both poached eggs were overcooked. Despite bringing these issues to the attention of the waiter, I was only given a brief apology and left to eat my disappointing meal. Afterward, I was offered a complimentary coffee, which I declined. Overall, I don't plan on returning to Pickles anytime soon.
Went for their Father's day special. We were a party of 5 including a 5 year old. We had the roast beef roast dinner and my son the chicken roast dinner. Beautifully presented wnd the meat lovely and tender. All was served together and all served hot. Ample serving and staff happy to box up any thing left over. Mind you my plate was almost licked clean. There was a big jug of gravy supplied. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend either for lunch or just a coffee. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Disabled access to ground floor plus disabled toilet.
We stopped after a hike for brunch and were pleased to find that it was open on New Year's Day. We ordered two coffees, bottled water, chorizo panini and eggs florentine (I requested that ham be added and was told this would be extra). The bill was £28. The coffee was nice, the food was abysmal. The ham was that cheap thin square kind you wouldn't feed your cat and the hollandaise sauce was oily, very vinegary and absolutely covering everything. I left half and only ate what I did because I was starving. All in all, for the price very poor.

Upon arriving at Pickles, we were greeted by a friendly young lady and the bar staff. The charming and glamorous decor impressed us, and the team escorted us to our table and took our drink order. The cocktails were truly stunning! We sampled several throughout the evening and each one was fantastic. The pizza was delicious and served on a board that kept it warm as we sipped and chatted leisurely. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we had a truly wonderful date night. Thank you to the staff and team at Pickles.
A difference from all the other pubs in Baildon, this is more like a continental cafe. Nice decor and jazz playing quietly in the background. Good range of wines and beers but the speciality is cocktails. The tapas is ridiculously good value, I hope they develop this side of the offering. Perfect for couples who who don't want the hurley burley of a pub.
I went to Pickles last Sunday and had the roast beef dinner, which was fantastic! It was a great deal for only £8.50! I will definitely be returning very soon for another meal!
Pleasant enough atmosphere and nice coffee. We weren’t sure that the food was as fresh as it should be. There was evidence that the salad, in particular, had been ‘lingering’.

Accidentally went in thinking we were going to the pub next door. Turns out it's a fantastic propper cocktail bar. Barman James was a little legend. Deffo go again
