I would not say that I am a big fan of fish chips, but pier 1 seems to have become a regular hunting for our family. even better because traditional fish and chips are only part of their menu. if they, like me, are not a fan of the fritted bread variety, pier 1 has many delicious tasty for them. the brunette is a special favorite (educated) and lobster (if available) is too good not to order. the owner is incredibly friendly, helpful and courteous. eating is delicious and the restaurant is always clean and well presented. a long way from the greasy spoons that are synonymous for British chippy.
What a great find! Stumbled upon this restaurant when needing to kill some time. The service was great (i think her name was Victoria) served us and was so warm and friendly. Reasonably priced, fresh fish, tasty batter, good portions, good range of options, inviting decor but still calm and good energy. If you're in the area and looking for a certified good meal here is a great option.
My choice for takeaway fish and chips in Richmond. I have found the fish and chips to be good to very good. They take the time to let the fried fish rest after frying so that the oil can drain. The result is a crispy batter on the fish. The fish tastes fresh. The chips are buttery smooth inside.
We discovered the place accidentally and now a regular customer. The service is great, people working here are friendly. Fresh fish, good portions, good range of options. Not only for fish and chips but also a variety of grilled fish options are deserving attention. Highly recommended

we thought to eat a bite here, and what a crisp spot to stumble on each other. because of the sheer popularity of this place, we fought to never put a bad sign. the squid rings were sensational, and the total service was courteously attentive with customer experience in the head.
