I can't quite put into words how much we enjoyed our dinner at Pier 39. It's a lovely venue with fantastic food and charming owners. Anne goes above and beyond to ensure you have a delightful meal. My husband started with the Lobster Bisque, which was outstanding—perfectly spiced and loaded with tender pieces of lobster. The Caesar salad came with a delicious dressing, enhancing its flavor. He also ordered the lobster dinner, which was both beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. I opted for a cheeseburger since I wasn't very hungry, and I was pleasantly surprised by a homemade burger bursting with flavor. I only wish we could stay in town longer to enjoy another meal here!
This place was amazing tonight. Don't be fooled by the pub in the title, this place is upscale. It is a fine sit down meal after driving all day exploring. It has a relaxing atmosphere and the owners go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience. The food was great and fresh. There are plenty of seafood options and the burger is amazing as well. Couldn't have asked for more! Did I mention we walked in at the last moment? Not even the slightest bit of hesitation about serving us. We even offer to come back instead for lunch so they could close up. The owners wouldn't hear of it and welcomed us in. Truly and great meal.
We accidentally found this place late at night (around 8:30) and were hoping to grab a bite before heading to bed. Since they usually close at 9 PM, we weren't certain if they would still serve us. However, they welcomed us warmly and shared the remaining options on that evening's menu, which changes daily. We ordered the lobster bisque and a chicken stir-fry. The bisque was outstanding, but honestly, the service and genuine kindness we experienced were even more remarkable. It's a fantastic spot for a delicious meal, especially if you're looking to avoid fried food!
This restaurant is fantastic! We had a group of eight, and everyone enjoyed their meal. We all opted for the lobster dinner, which was offered at a great price. The meal came with salad, soup, lobster, homemade dinner rolls with homemade butter, and a delicious dessert. Everything was beautifully presented, and the salad looked like a work of art. The staff truly knows how to deliver a great dining experience. The owner, who also doubled as the chef, visited our table multiple times to check on us. If I could give ten stars, I absolutely would!
With a decor that's more upscale than typical for Twillingate, you might initially think the prices are high. However, that's not the case. The menu is somewhat limited, but based on our experience, everything we've tried is expertly prepared. Seafood takes center stage, as you would anticipate. The garlic shrimp, in particular, are a standout dish. The service is impeccable, making for an overall delightful dining experience.

We were so full by the end that we couldn't manage dessert, but they kindly brought us a small taster to conclude our meal. I highly recommend Pier 39 for either dinner or lunch.
