Whilst out having a general run around enjoying the fine weather my wife and i popped into the Piercebridge Farm Cafe following a quick google search.... and wow, so pleased we did. Tucked away in a small corner of a farm yard opposite the church on the green, you'll find this little goldmine. Finding a table and it was the last one as it was clearly popular we ordered our food and drinks. I opted for their BLT, my wife, their warm bacon, butternut squash, beetroot and goats cheese salad with honey and mustard dressing, tea and coffee and to top it all a cheese scone and a slice of their homemade Victoria sandwich cake with fresh cream. The BLT was perfect, fresh lettuce, fresh tomato and so...

My husband and I have just discovered this little gem in Piercebridge. There is a good selection of local produce and interesting biscuits, cakes, pies, desserts, teas and pickles, etc., in the Farm Shop, and a relatively small café. The first time we visited, my husband had the signature dish of chicken stew and mash, and I opted for the warm butternut squash salad with beetroot, cheese and crispy bacon. We were both delighted at our selections, so much so that we haven’t actually tried anything else on the menu! Every time we go we think of having something else, but don’t want to miss out on our favourites! The rest of the menu is mainly ‘snack’ food, but don’t be put off by this, as ther...
Just off the little village Green this is a relatively small farm shop that seems to specialise in organic produce. There is a decent butchers on-site and although the farm shop has a limited variation of goods on sale, it was interesting to have a look round. The actual cafe closed down during the Covid crisis and they haven’t yet reopened it. We were advised however that they do takeaway hot drinks, snacks etc which you can either enjoy in the garden on a nice day, or in your car otherwise. On a bitterly cold November morn we gave it a miss! I would say that this shop is worth a visit if you are in the area, but I wouldn’t make a special journey.
This farm shop is amazing. We started visiting during the pandemic and we wouldn’t go anywhere else now. The choice of organic meat, fruit and vegetables, cheeses, condiments and food cupboard items is exceptional. Then of course there’s the home made cakes, pastries and ready meals (which aren’t your average ready meal by the way). And as a previous review mentioned the home made sausage rolls, if you have never had one you are missing a treat! A sausage roll and coffee in the garden, bliss! Oh and the staff are the nicest people you will meet. They make our weekly visit is an absolute pleasure. Thank you Réservez une table maintenant
One of the best ways to relax after a stressful day is by visiting Piercebridge Farm Shop for their delicious sausage rolls. Made with high-quality meat and a secret blend of herbs and spices, they truly are a delightful indulgence. In addition to their sausage rolls, the shop offers a variety of homemade pies, bakes, and cheeses that I also bought today, making this quaint farm shop a paradise for food lovers. The friendly staff only add to the wonderful experience, making it a place I frequent time and time again.
This farm shop and cafe is a must-visit. It has a charming atmosphere, friendly staff, and is located in a beautiful setting. We always stop by when we're passing through because the chicken stew and sausage rolls at Boo's are amazing. The shortbread is absolutely delightful, along with all the other delicious treats on their dessert counter. We've dined in at the cafe and also frequently pick up takeout. It's simply the best.
The cafe is currently closed so we took away cappuccinos and tried the sausage rolls which are really good nothing like you buy at the supermarket or the bakers. We stocked up on organic meat and chicken for our freezer and look forward to going again hopefully when the cafe is fully open. You can ring up with an order for the shop to make sure they have what you want and they are friendly and obliging. Will be back.
I am a regular customer of this lovely family business farm shop and cafe and I love it. Although the cafe is closed, you can still have a drink and a cake outside in the sitting area which is a little gem. You can also have a light lunch with their new addition, the most delicious homemade sausage rolls I have ever had. That is how sausage rolls should taste. Totally recommend this place. Don't miss it. Réservez une table maintenant
This fantastic organic farm shop offers a variety of fresh produce and its own organic butchers. They also have a convenient on-site post office service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. It's a perfect spot to pick up your weekly groceries and enjoy a cup of coffee. Don't miss out on visiting this place!
