The staff was fantastic and the atmosphere was welcoming. The locals were friendly as well. The restroom was in poor condition and there was only one for females, but that didn't really matter when you're enjoying yourself and the music is great. It's a perfect spot for casual chats with interesting people, although only bar snacks are available for purchase.
The bartender and patrons were both excellent company. They were welcoming and easy-going, creating a vibe of a place where friends gather. There was no pretense, just friendly people. The cozy seating made it a perfect spot to enjoy a pint. It couldn't have been better.
Extensive choice of beers in this lovely traditional but a little bit quirky pub. Very friendly, warm welcome. Beer was in excellent condition and there was a lively atmosphere inside what seems like a popular place for the locals to go. Highly recommended
Love this pub! Great atmosphere brilliant live music. It's a real spit sawdust, down to earth experience. A proper pub like pubs used to be. Bar staff are excellent particularly Violet, who's a little ray of sunshine. Highly recommended! Réservez une table maintenant
This is an excellent pub, with a variety of great beers and a friendly atmosphere. The live bands that perform here are fantastic. I highly recommend trying the scampi fries - they are the standout dish on the menu.
Only went for a beer.A warm friendly atmosphere ,patient and pleasant landlord.It has rustic charm and pallets for tables .What you might call a 'proper ' old style pub.
The best place in town to sit back and relax for a few hours. Great beer, friendly staff, loads of friendly faces, regular (free) music what's not to like?
