Spur of the moment dinner on the other side of town, and we were very happy with our choice. We had the mixed dips (carrot, beetroot and humus) great choice and the best Turkish bread, vine leaves and the grilled haloumi. All were great choices. We shared the mixed skewers and the meat was cooked to perfection and very tasty with some kind of seasoning, was also served with rice and a salad. We had the baklava and Turkish delight which was delicious.. all in all we walked out happy campers.
This is the second time we have beenmy daughter is vegetarian and the vegetarian platter is really tastymy husband had a pizza which was nice and the we also had two serves of the mixed grill which is served with rice and a garden saladfor dessert we had their Nutella dish to share between four of us and Turkish coffee we all had a beer each and it was under $130 for four adultsgreat value and generous servingsthe staff are very attentive
We were out on a Saturday afternoon and dropped in here for lunch. Such a warm welcome! It was confirmed this was a family run place and everyone was friendly. We enjoyed the 3 dips to start and my doner was different than what I expected but delicious. Every aspect of the mixed grill was yummy as were the rissoles. We were delighted by our lazy long lunch. Thanks to everyone here for the great experience.
A group of us ate here recently. The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly, huge smiles and happy to make suggestions.We ate a range of food - bread and dips, dolmas, salads and vegetables as well as the pides and meat from the grill. The food was delicious and we even finished with some baklava and Turkish delight.We'll definitely be back to this lovely and popular restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant provides excellent food with good quantities. The dips were fantastic and the meats were exceptional. The restaurant also has a great ambience and can seat small to large groups. Definitely one of my picks from the abundant Sydney Road eateries.
Splendido posto turco......non caro ma neppure economico.....ottimi sapori......non come in Istanbul ma non si può avere l'impossibile.....questa strada tra Brunswick e qui si conferma piena di posti interessanti !
We have always enjoyed every meal , no matter the choices , at this great example of Turkish fare. Very warm caring service and delicious food coupled with live music on a Saturday night. What more do you need!

The iskender, mixed grill and the large selection of vegetables sides are great. We love the eggplant, salad, green beans in a tomato based sauce. So good!
