The meal here was so expertly crafted. I was seriously in heaven at how unique and delicious everything was. They took simple dishes and turned them into delightful plates. The menu here changes every 3 months but a few staples stay. The beet chips with goat cheese ranch dip is a must. I tried the white wine watermelon cucumber sangria with fresh fruits and flowers. We went on a Monday night and there was a singer playing acoustic songs which was so enjoyable. We spent time in the gift shop/furniture shop. There are actually cute pieces you can purchase (vs some tacky gift shops at restaurants, it was nothing like that at all). The shop was well maintained with beautifully displayed furnitur...
We always like coming out here for a drive and to get out of the city! It's a charming place where unfortunately the food never matches the atmosphere.I had the chicken and waffles where the chicken was dry but the coating was light and crispy (reminded me of boxed shake n' bake though).My wife always gets the pancakes with lemon ricotta on top. She missed the caramelized apples that used to come with it and overall was presented more poorly than it was previously while the price stayed the same (I'd rather the cost go up and quality stay the same).The kids menu was quite limited so my daughters also shared the same pancake mentioned above.The closeup to animals with the kids is always a hit...
Going to buck the trend a bit with this review. our experience was very mixed great service and a wonderful place but a very indifferent food experience. Beet chips were outstanding, as was the fish, and lemon meringue desert. However the chicken sandwich, burger, fries and chicken entree were very disappointing. The burger and chicken sandwich were both overcooked and very dry and the chicken meal had vegetables that were raw and inedible. The fries were also undercooked as well. We love the farm to table idea, but in our experience the execution fell short.
Fantastic experience! I visited today to explore the farmers market, then took a stroll to see the farm animals. The highlight of my trip was indulging in to-go desserts and mocktails while relaxing at one of the many patio seating areas. There were also plenty of fireplaces to enjoy in the evening. Afterward, we took some time to browse the store and admire all the wonderful home products. I can't wait to return once the restaurant reopens for indoor dining! Réservez une table maintenant
Went for brunch and was disappointed in the food I recieved. I got the chicken and waffles. It came with 2 small pieces of chicken that I found pretty dry and the honey sauce that came with was very spicy. The waffles were also kinda plain and I had to ask for some syrup. Definitely not worth $20. The service was good but the atmosphere was pretty loud. We sat inside on the main floor and right beside the door opening which wasn't ideal.
If you are visiting Winnipeg or surrounding area it’s worth taking a drive to Pineridge Hollow. It’s a great place to go for brunch and spend some time checking out the shops, grounds and the adorable animals in the petting zoo. Great picture opportunities. The restaurant serves delicious food, lots of choice and great vegetarian options as well. The freshly made beet chips with dip are a hit for me. Wonderful attentive service.
We absolutely adore Pine Ridge Hollow and visit frequently. The food is consistently delicious, and the menu is both inventive and fresh. Our kids enjoy spending time with the goats, and the new shopping area is wonderful. The grocery store offers an excellent selection of local produce and meats. Be sure to attend their fall fair—there's live music, food trucks, hay rides, and plenty of activities for the kids!
This place is fantastic, featuring lovely scenery and beautiful, delicious food along with great cocktails! There’s also a charming furniture shop with some amazing pieces, and a little farm area in the front with animals. Plus, the presentation of the food was stunning. The dining experience on the spacious greenhouse-style balcony is truly unique, and I would definitely recommend visiting during the summer! Réservez une table maintenant
The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the ambiance is charmingly rustic. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, it’s certainly worth it. The shops nearby are impressive as well, featuring a variety of local products. It's tough to walk away from this place without picking up something.
