I'm really amazed and disappointed about the reviews I see here about Jade restaurant. The place is quite traditional maintaining a not so pretentious and overloaded Chinese decoration, with a little cute lake with fish in the middle. It is quite big, always busy and the service is always impeccable. I've eaten in so many chinese restaurants, in many different countries, most of which were actually run by chinese people. But this one I have to say is outstanding! The food is always perfect and the portions are huge! You order for example noodles with duck and you get a huge plate of noodles and vegetables, on top of which there is an enormous whole duck breast! I find the comments about the high prices in other reviews totally inaccurate. In Frankfurt for example you get lousy chinese dishes with just some hints of meat for the same if not higher price. I live in Bad Nauheim and since I've tried Jade I consider myself lucky that there is such a good restaurant in town! When you've had too much boring german cuisine, this is the place to go!
This is a time-honoured Chinese restaurant in Bad Nauheim which has kept its place for many years, a feat in itself in the fast-moving gastro scene. It saw a revamp a few years ago which has done it good, with some more Chinese features built into the space. The food is rather good as Chinese restaurants in Germany go and the service is attentive.
