Absolutely top-drawer. The staff and chefs at Pinocchio never fail to impress whenever we visit. We were here for my wife’s birthday meal, the restaurant was quite busy for a Monday night, and we were given a good table near the window downstairs. We all had Calamari to start which was lovely, and the mains were fantastic too. I opted for the Rack of Lamb off the specials board which was delicious, my daughter had the Gamberoni, in which the king prawns were cooked to perfection, and my wife had Monkfish, which she loved. The staff are always pleasant and attentive and we always leave here saying how nice it was. Good to see a local independent Italian restaurant doing so well.
This is about the 4th-5th time I’ve been here, never once had a bad experience, on arriving I’m always greeted with smiles and hellos, service is extremely good, a relaxed yet professional service, the drinks are always fantastic. I’ve eaten a different meal each time I visited, from pasta/ pizza to steaks, and every time I’ve enjoyed the meal so much, myself and my partner the same. You get the feeling that it’s a family run business that care about giving great customer service and delicious food and drinks,
Went for a birthday meal for the first time after many recommendations. Everything was amazing service and food was five star. Only issue was a group who were loud and rude. The owner eventually asked them to leave. Wasn't his fault and didn't put me off. They can't help how other people act. Definitely recommend and the ribs and fillet steak were unreal!! Complentriy desert for my son due to his birthday
The food is amazing and as a group we have been here several times. However on the last few occasions we have found the staff upstairs to be rude, bossy and hurried. One waitress in particular is very forceful and brusque in her manner. So as a group we have decided it's time to go elsewhere. We will miss the food but not the rude upstairs staff.
