I went in to grab a drink and sat at the bar with my service dog. I was informed that I couldn't be there, despite explaining that my dog is a service animal. The staff insisted that I had to sit by the door, which is completely against the law. I have no intention of spending any money at this establishment again. I left and will not be returning. The Pioneer is an ideal place to stop while exploring Virginia City, and it's a must-visit if you’re staying overnight. The drinks are strong, and the atmosphere is fantastic, with great people on both sides of the bar. Plus, you're likely to bump into a few Brewery Follies performers, which adds to the fun!

This is the must-visit spot in town! The atmosphere perfectly captures the charming small-town Montana vibe. With billiards, a pool hall, a jukebox, and friendly locals, it really is the place to be. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in Virginia City!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I learned that the bar was relocated from Butte to this spot back in 1975, which added an interesting historical touch. The vibe was really enjoyable! Price per person: $1–10. Service: 5 stars. Atmosphere: 5 stars. Réservez une table maintenant

This place doesn't like outsiders.every time we pull up on the bikes n come in we get scowled n hated.Good place to get into a good fight ..That's it. Chics bar in Alder is super friendly n not far away . Only stop worth while.

I’d rather hangout at the landfill, the bartender has serious personal issues and should really watch her tone. All in all just go to Ennis and spend your money it’s not a broke back mountain knockoff.
