BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE -Grew up in the area, loved their food for many years, recently flew home for brothers wedding from Alberta and to see my parents, one 79 the other 78 , first time seeing them in 2 years due to COVID and travel restrictions.Stopped in to book their best table for Saturday evening and the family before we head back to the west .Met the owner Brenda at the door, explained who I was and who parents were, explained how I was home for the wedding and that we and the family were craving their food ……Only to be asked, “Have you been out of the Maritimes recently?”To which I replied honestly, Yes, I live in Alberta, to which I was escorted to the door , while saying we don’t ser...
I understand we are in a pandemic. Having said that we tried to booked a reservation while visiting relatives. Because we haven’t been in Nova Scotia for 14 days even though we were allowed in by the government and the restaurant refused us admission. Even though we have been fully vaccinated. I find it interesting that the government lets you in but proprietors can refuse entry. I will never consider going to this restaurant again nor will my relatives who live in the area.
A dining experience for those who want to sit down for an hour or two. Their aesthetic is the very pricey dining experience, which of course caters to some individuals. Food quality was okay, but not reflecting how much the dish costs. Take out is strange as it comes with a dollar store plate that is to be brought back. Interesting touch, but unexpected.(Photo= pasta with Alfredo sauce chicken, 30$)I would try again!
