Pirates Bay Club

We ate here during our holiday and got severe food poisoning, thinking back the chicken we had wasn’t served piping hot as described (being in an extremely hot pizza oven! should have realised at the time! Anyway it was only a couple of hours later I was vomiting all night and most of the next day, completely wasted all that time in bed on holiday we know it was no other food we ate that day as the other food we had, we had before many times. We was told by our hotel to go and speak to the restaurant about it, the restaurant apologised at first but then went on to say they had never had any problems with it and had served that dish 10 times that night without any issues, they had never had anyone complain about food poisoning before. On here the reviews say different. They assured us all food was prepared and cooked fresh on the premises but this cannot be true, the kitchen is too small, we saw this when we returned to the restaurant to speak to them, they must be prepping elsewhere! Upon ordering, I nipped to the loo and on returning the food was there! I remember commenting on how quick it arrived. Beware!

The staff is very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The meal is good and plentiful. An excellent paella, homemade, top notch. The decoration of the restaurant and the terrace are really great. If you are passing through the island, we recommend this restaurant. Thank you for your kindness. Service: Dine in

The food was delicious we had paella and napolitan escalop (I recommend the sangria as well). The staff was incredibly friendly and made a lot of suggestions. The service is very friendly and courteous and you have a fantastic view of the sea. The paella is already available for one person and is very tasty and authentic. The cocktails are delicious and well made. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice experience, we ate a very succulent paella and I'm not even talking about their cocktail. just a delight. I highly recommend Unavoidable Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
