I wish we could allot half stars. So I really enjoyed the food it was really good though a little light on meat. But the salad was fresh and a good size, the sauce was on POINT!! The downside is that you 're going to wait. Even during the week you 'll wait, so this isn 't what I 'd say is fast food . It is also a kind of snooty area so the other clientele isn 't friendly. Now the woman working the cashier was very VERY friendly. But no one else was. It 's a rather cozy dining area too so you do sit a bit shoulder to shoulder making it a bit awkward if you have anyone with special needs. Always authentic and delicious food in the Middle East. My favorite is the Gyro plate. The lamb is tasty and the pitabrot is kissed. I think her gyro is the best. The owner is so pleasant, and I appreciate her point of view that all people are appreciated. This business is a Hendersonville favorite for good reason!
Hands down the best falafel and gyros we?ve ever had in the US! The owners are from Jerusalem and strictly follow the recipes from there. They even use imported spices! Must try if you?re in the area. Have cash or check, no credit cards accepted. An ATM is right in the store.
