My wife had vegetarian Capuns which was very nice, and I had a dal (Indian Lentil) curry. Just make sure you save some space for the delicious deserts!"

Excellent vegetarian food, but also serving daily meat and fish specials. Everything locally sourced. Menu is imaginative and eclectic. Setting is cozy. Rather than having a large lobby with lots of dead space the hotel has created little nooks and crannies and set up tables in each. Thus there is room for both family and private parties and other diners each in their own area. We hadn’t reserved but came early for dinner before the Christmas crush and were seated at a large ten person table with other diners. Service kindly and attentive and showing good teamwork. We enjoyed our evening at Giodi but were very surprised at how expensive it was. The Green Steak Sandwich was very tasty but surprisingly expensive for what was essentially a veggie burger with A LOT of McDonald’s-type french fries. The Wild Mushroom Pie was delicious and felt like more of a value, although still very expensive. Also shocked that water was CHF 9 (we really just wanted tap water). The sourdough bread that many on TA rave about is just a single large roll to be split between two people. Overall, the restaurant was good but not remarkable. While it was nice to find a vegetarian restaurant in this small alpine village, brace yourself for the prices.
Reliably tasty food, best place in town for groups including vegans or vegetarians (meat can be ordered as side dishes by those who want it a great concept). Allergy friendly service (substitutions good advice on options and ingredients). Some of the main dish portions are rather small, so ask the friendly staff about portion size before ordering if very hungry. I have eaten here multiple times (couples, family, friends) and the food has always been very tasty. The atmosphere is also very cosy . This is my preferred restaurant of the restaurants of hotel Saratz and all of Pontresina.
Loved everything. From the complimentary home baked sourdough bread with home made yoghurt dip, the carrot-walnut ravioli, the carrot-vodka cocktail and the chocolate cake. Amazing food in a cosy setting and great staff. Kitchen is under control of chef Kari Walker. Loved every second and I MUST eat here again when in the St. Moritz area.
