Pittsburgh Blue - Maple Grove

I have to be honest, I’ve been to Pittsburgh blue a number of times and unfortunately this Saturday was not the best experience. We made a reservation for three people for 7:45 PM. Got there and checked in and waited at least 20 minutes to be seated, maybe even 30 minutes. Once we were seated in the bar area was at least five minutes before the server came and greeted us and asked for drink choices. from there on out, the service was spotty at best, and we ended up waiting longer than we should have for our entrées while the meal itself was good it’s hard to give a positive rating when the service was not the best. it was easy to make a reservation, we sat right away. service was very attentive and friendly. eating was delicious, steaks done as we like them. they remembered that our son was birthday and brought one dessert. it is more expensive than the average restaurant, but it is totally worth and not as expensive as some. recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner.

Server was great. Cool place, a bit noisy. Ordered a ribeye, it was underwhelming. It was over cooked. Many tendons. Also ordered a filet which was delicious. Will return but likely order seafood. Too much room for error when cooking an expensive cut of meat.

Our family, five adults and two children, were celebrating two of the adults’ birthdays. The prices are high and do not have any side dishes that accompany the steaks. We did enjoy two Birthday desserts.

Eat was good, but not $120-for- two good, we could have spend a quarter and a steak was as good as home. we were expecting something more incredible for the cost. overall it was good.
