We ordered the salmon chicken box that was suppose to be a sharer, we phoned twice and they told us to order via the web site as there was discount .we we tried the web site it was not allowing us to do so ,...so we phoned back for help both male and female were not interested in taking our order ,55 minutes later the food arrived at the door in a small box and look warm and most of the items were burnt . The food presentation was poor and definitely not for 2 people and not worth £21.00 ,we will not be recommending this takeaway to friends or family ever again !!
I was excited to try this place as I love Jamaican Patties amongst other things. The food took just over 1 .5 hours to arrive which wasn't a great start. I odered Lamb patties and a double stack burger. I usually have Patties down in...London from a bakery however these ones had obviously been baked some time ago. The pastry was hard and dry, they were anything but fresh. The burger was OK although I thought it would have some kick to it but it was quite bland. I won't be ordering again unfortunately. It would have been good value had the food been nicer.
Over 2hrs 30mins, numerous calls, mislead by the staff, and still no food at gone 22.30. On the last call was finally told food was being cooked so we cancelled the order. Appreciate it was a busy night and did give them the benefit of...the doubt, but over 2hrs 30mins and going from your order is next, your order is out with the driver, the driver should be with you in 5 and finally its just being cooked is totally unforgivable. Website was pointless too, live chat was an auto bot and when I wanted to cancel the order I couldn't.
Front of house service are the reason for my low rating. The food is amazing but sadly as we ordered collected in shop, we were left waiting un-acknowledged for a few minutes before one of the three girls behind the counter even spoke...to or looked at us. Taking this out of the equation, the jerk steak chicken box with chips, rice peas is the dogs dooo daaaaa’s. Massive portions so tasty. Both the chicken steak were cooked to perfection. The coleslaw is the best we’ve had. Highly recommended for the food.
2.5 hours for the delivery that came cold. Apparently this was our fault where we live. 45 minutes on the phone try to solve, finally promised a refund, 8 days later and no refund yet. I called again to stop another 20 minutes trying to get our refund. will never be ordered from here again. would recommend to eat only toast or just go to bed instead
never had problems in past, but ordered home delivery at 17.40 clock and not yet received food at 9 clock. telephoned constantly to find out about delay came through once and was told that there was a delay, this was 2 hours after orig order. I tried to ring. an hour later and phone went directly to voice mail. not reused
We waited over two hours for our delivery. When we rang to enquire the staff put the phone down and then the manager told me it takes time to make fresh food. I totally agree but why advertise that the food will be delivered in...an hour. Such a shame that the service is so shocking as the food was actually really nice!
