When I relocated to Delaware, one of my primary objectives was to discover an authentic Italian sausage. Giacomo's truly delivered! My son is a huge fan of their pizza, although I haven't had the chance to try it myself since I always stick to ordering the sausage. The French fries are consistently fresh, and the tiramisu for dessert is an absolute delight. It tends to get quite busy in the evenings, often with a line out the door, but the wait is definitely worth it. I always call ahead to place my pickup order. Just a quick note: they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
I have been a loyal customer of Giacomo's since it was located in the Blue Hen Mall. However, this week I had a really disappointing experience with their pizza and subs. The pizza had a different taste, and the subs now contain lower-quality meat. It's truly unfortunate... If the quality keeps dropping, I won’t be coming back. It’s disheartening because this used to be my favorite place.
Some of the reviews here are just outlandish! This pizza restaurant in Dover is simply the best! It’s always bustling, and for good reason. The pizza isn’t overly salty like some can be; it’s more reminiscent of New York-style pizza. The other items on the menu are fantastic as well. I can’t wait for them to reopen. We order from here at least once a week, if not twice a month!
It was tasty. It was a pretty standard pizza shop cheesesteak. Big, 16 in, it probably would have fit nicely on a 14-inch roll. I am very happy with my $14.75 total price for a 16-inch cheese steak and a draft of beer. I don't know, I do know, I'm nitpicking but I would rather a full 14 in than an emtpy’ish 16 inch roll. The pizzas look really good. Good overall experience.

This restaurant offers the best pizza you'll ever experience. Oscar, the pizza chef, is phenomenal. The wings are exquisite, and the service is top-notch. It’s our favorite spot to eat!
The food at this restaurant is outstanding and affordably priced. The staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it for gatherings; they did a fantastic job!
