I was confused and obviously needing my garlic and herb dips so I rung up and a lady who answered the phone told me she accidentally only made one of the toppings on my half and half pizza so she put the other toppings onto another large pizza, my lucky day! Visited for takeaway pizza on 16th Feb around 7pm, two young chaps putting an order in at the counter as we arrived and other than myself and my wife nobody else waiting. The person completed taking their order but did not acknowledge us being at the counter, told the other customer the order would be about 10-15 minutes and disappeared out the back. 10 minutes passed and we were still just stood at the counter with no acknowledgement from a staff member or indication we would get served. I hate moaning but this isn't the first time I've been disappointed by Pizza Hut Derriford but it will most definitely be the last! To be told an hour for delivery is perfectly acceptable but anything over is touch and go. I phoned for my original order at 7pm to be told up to an hour, fine. 8.15pm comes.. nothing. I phoned and politely asked where the pizza was to be told that they were really busy and they wanted it to be nice and warm so it's just in the oven now. Will be 20 mins Maximum. WHY TELL SOMEONE A TIME SCHEDULE IF YOU CANT STICK TO IT! 8.50 comes.. nothing! Phoned again to be told it had left the building 5 minutes ago.. to arrive at 9.10. Because apparently it takes 25 minutes...
We ordered a delivery timed for 12.30 for my daughters birthday. We had an appointment at the hospital at 11.40 so thought 12.30 would give us plenty of time to be home for the order. However, for some reason the order turned up at 12.10,meaning my daughter ended up with cold pizza as she was still at the hospital then! No reason for the pizza turning up that early and completely ruined her special lunch!

Placed a £50 order at 3:30pm for a 5:00pm delivery. 6:15pm and still no good. After two phone calls we found out that the food wasn’t even in the oven at 5:30pm. Food arrived at 6:25pm with wrong items and burnt pizza. Attitude of staff in store was interesting. Only saving grace was the delivery driver who was extremely apologetic. Don’t think I’ll use that company again.
Took ages to take our order, then drinks took even longer to arrive! It wasn’t even busy and when the drinks did arrive they weren’t what we ordered! The game not reason they scored 1 star is because they did bring out my Grandaughters birthday cake when we asked! All in all the service was poor and we were made to wait for ages! NotHappy and will not be going back
I can highly recommend ordering a pizza from here. My son and I have been on a ward for over 2 weeks at Derriford Hospital so we went on the website and ordered a pizza for a change. Ordering on line was easy and It was delivered to the main entrance at the time stated on our order and it made my 16 year old very happy. Well worth the money to see him smile
A simple tip for this Pizza Hut. Always collect never ask for delivery. They always take way to many orders and over promise on delivery times with very few actual delivery drivers. But for collection the pizzas are usually quick and spot on. I didn’t give it five stars as the staff are always so grumpy having to deal with all the telephone complaints.

Visited the store brought a medium margarita pizza, brought it back to the ward in the hospital to find that it was all greasey and tasted like grease, and the pizza wasn’t even cut properly
Service and delivery were the best things about it. Food was a disappointment and tasted better reheated the next day.
