The name of the shop was good, kids were hungry and wanted to eat Pizza. We saw the shop on the way home from Priory park and stopped to get a take away for the kids. Husband popped in and asked for a half veg and half Margarita, the person on the counter started asking for toppings without letting know that each topping is £1.50. One pizza costed us a rediculous amount of £22.00 Their menu board was on the floor where u order, very easy to miss , their customer service was absolutely poor letting the customer know about prices verbally as well. There were too many people to take the order but no one was ready to help properly. Overall, unhappy with the quality of pizza for the price paid.
I have passed by the Pizza Project in Sanderstead several times and after reading some reviews, I decided to try it out this Thursday. The staff was different from what I had seen before, with a couple of Italian guys (who were very pleasant). I was confused when I saw them place the pizza on the oven base for 10 seconds, then use a pizza peel to raise it and hold it at the roof of the oven. The result was a slightly burnt top edge with a unique flavor (which I found rather nice), but the bottom was very soggy. Additionally, the bread base was rolled too thin, leading to holes in the pizza. Overall, it was not an enjoyable experience and I will not be purchasing from them again.
We made a reservation at the Pizza Project for a combined birthday celebration with 70 guests and were lucky to have scheduled it shortly after the lockdown restrictions eased. Everything went smoothly, and the service that evening was exceptional. The chef and their assistant were outstanding; they were both very professional and polite. The highlight of the evening was definitely the delicious pizza that everyone raved about. Overall, they helped make the evening extra special after a tough 18 months.
Booked the pizza project to cater for around 100 people to celebrate my 21st birthday and they were amazing! Really easy to communicate with right up until the actual day, amazing choice of pizzas and incredibly friendly staff. They were a highlight of the evening and would certainly recommend to anyone who is looking for a catering service for a large number of people with easy to eat, high quality pizza. I booked the pizza project team to cater for my 52nd party (delayed 50th for two years! and I had a small family party for 16 people. The set up in the garden was fantastic and a real focal point for the evening. Pizzas delicious! Best ever. Expensive for a small gathering but totally worth it.
I actually can’t sing your praises enough!! The service was outstanding the food was incredible!! Absolutely authentic Italian pizza!! Delicious!! We sat outside in the sunshine!! Just perfect!! Even Schnitzel was well looked after….. service 10/10 food 12 /10 Atmosphere 10/10 thank you
