As I approached the food truck, the smell of the pizza was absolutely captivating, instantly reminding me of my time in Italy. The pizza certainly lived up to its reputation! While the wait can exceed 30 minutes, it's understandable given the size of the oven. The truck is located in the parking lot of Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck, which is a wonderful place for families, especially with a playground nearby. There’s plenty of seating in the park, or you can bring your own chairs. I would rate the pizza an impeccable 10/10! However, the prices are a bit steep for the 10-inch pizzas. I waited around 30 minutes for my order, but overall, I would definitely return to try more varieties.

Must-eat pizza for your bucket list, folks. This Mr. Vitale guy is the original real deal Italian from Italy. Literally a mom and pop shop, but on wheels. Margarita is great, pesto is great, all of them are great. You gotta go on their web site to figure out where the truck will be though (or hire them for events and parties).

My family and I absolutely love Pizza Vitale pizza. All the ingredients are fresh and the dough is homemade. I promise it's the best pizza ever tasted...unless you are in Italy.
