When I inquired about the red wines available by the glass, she simply mentioned "Cabernet and Italian," and when I pressed for details on the Italian options, her response was vague—something like "a red and sweet, like chocolate." I opted for the Cabernet. My wife ordered the Ribeye Steak, priced at nearly $60, but it was disappointing—it tasted like a $10 steak you could buy at Albertsons. She requested it cooked medium, but it arrived rare; when we sent it back, it returned as half medium rare and the other half well done. We always have a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food is outstanding, the wine selection is impressive, and the staff is incredibly friendly. During our visit for our anniversary, we found a card signed by the entire team on our table. The waitstaff also took the time to congratulate us on our special day, and the complimentary dessert was the perfect finishing touch to our evening. This remains one of our favorite restaurants, and we will definitely be returning.
The prime rib is significantly overpriced at $50. I ordered it medium rare but received a well-done piece instead. After sending it back, I got a replacement that was half fat. On a positive note, the potato side dish was excellent, and the butternut squash raviolis were fantastic. The lasagna, bread, and Caesar salad were also very good. A charming local Italian restaurant that offers consistently delicious food and delightful drinks. The atmosphere is generally inviting. Although the service began a bit inconsistently, it quickly improved to an excellent level. There was some confusion due to differing closing hours listed on various platforms. Overall, we had a wonderful evening with friends, enjoying great food.
The prices here are outrageous. Bread wasn’t complimentary and cost $4.00. On top of that, we were served a salad without being informed that it was an extra charge. To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. The food was subpar and not worth the money. I will not be returning.
