En route back to our hotel in Konstanz from a day trip to the lovely city of Lucerne in Switzerland, we decided to park in the nearby town of Kreuzlingen with the aim of finding a suitable restaurant. After walking around for a while and completing a tour of the main street, we realised that apart from Italian fare and American drinks, there was little on offer. With the attitude of 'any port in a storm ' we happened upon the Pizzeria Al Centro in Station Road and we were given a warm welcome by the man on duty. Pizza is ok, but unfortunately I'm not at all satisfied with the service. We've been going there for years, we call and pick up the pizza. If it says it'll be ready in 30', that's when we go and it hasn't even been started yet. It happened again and again that other people or entire groups were given priority, even though you had even ordered before them on site. I'm Italian, but that doesn't mean I'm treated any better than other people in Italian pizzerias. That shouldn't be done here with Albanian customers either. But it always happens.
