Pizzeria alla Piazza

We arrived without a reservation but got a table for an hour if we are fast enough. I told them that it depends on their cooking speed but we should be OK so we got the table. Then we waited... at some point we...got the menu and ordered. The food arrived quite fast with the drinks but without any friendly service. The food was OK but NOTHING special: Pizza Calzone: basic, nothing special. Lasagne: boring standard, at least sizzling hot. The salad was OK but very little of everything (olives, eggs, artichokes, ... fresh with some standard dressing. The risotto was a disappointment, plain taste with long grain rice and not what it should be Arborio or similar. After we finished we again waite...

we decided spontaneously to take a day trip to beilngries and stop here how it is tired to eat traditional German foods. we have no reservation, we have a table anyway. our little child still needs a high chair, but the only free one was taken away because it was reserved. this high chair was never used all the time we were there and even moved back to make more space. our child was so nice to eat on the sofa with a kiss under her. service was not friendly at all, but fast for drinks and eating. no one speaks Italian and few of them are German (especially in the kitchen they spoke some Eastern European languages). the place is still very beautiful and beautifully decorated, the bathroom has...

while the interior of the restaurant is more that of a coffee house, the service is friendly and efficient. the pizza is very nice and the mushes (seasonal) were also very good. the choice of wee through the glass needs improvement. opening hours for lunch. are very short.

we go there at least once a year. my wife always has calzone. she says it's her favorite calzone. I'm going to scavolo and lasagne.

it is not an Italian restaurant, but the pizza is good. I had a minestrone suppe that was actually very good.
