Location The monastery town Lorsch is worth a trip. Im Allgemeinen ist es so, dass diejenigen Restaurants, die in der Nähe von Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen, oftmals teurer sein können als die weiter entfernt befindlichen Cafés und Restaurants. Wir waren Anfang September 2016 in Lorsch und haben uns die Weltkulturerbestätte Kloster Lorsch angeschaut - und - wie es nun mal so ist, Kunst macht hungrig. So suchten wir ein Restaurant, gingen die Nibelungenstrasse hinunter und kehrten dann aber zurück zum Kloster um schließlich einen Tisch zu suchen im Restaurant" Pizzeria am Kloster". Pizzen in allen Variationen. Nudelgerichte, Salate alles typisch italienisch. kleines Familienunternehmen. Wenn man was modernes sucht, ist man dort falsch. Das Lokal ist klein und urig. Donnerstags ist Pizza-Tag d.h. jede Pizza 5.--€, Salatteller auch 5.--€.An jedem Wochentag gibt es ein anderes Angebot.Wir gehen öfters im Sommer od. Spätsommer wo man noch draußen sitzen kann. Wir waren mit Freunden in der Pizzeria am Kloster. Service super Essen sehr günstig deshalb darf man natürlich auch nicht zu viel erwarten. Wenn man gut essen gehen will würde ich es nicht empfehlen aber die Freundlichkeit des Servicepersonals war super und am Schluß gab es noch einen Kaffee umsonst da war ich echt überrascht.
