I place 1-star review due to the chef 's behaviour. We ordered coffe and some starters and they told us that we have to order main dishes in order to stay at the restaurant. We ordered three meals only to assure our staying at the restaurant. After half an hour the chef , in front of our eyes, yelled at the waitress in German language that if they us) dont order more main dishes they should go. He even pointed at us completely inpolitely without respecting us. The food and the coffee although they didnt have milk to make a cappuccino) !)was mediocre. The service was unacceptable. The price was good concerning the location. I wouldn 't suggest it to anyone.
Favorite restaurant in Hallstatt. Nice atmosphere, nice people, decent food at reasonable prices (unlike most other places in Hallstatt), and is one of the very few that is open after 6pm so you have some nice dinner there. Overall very satisfied. Before going I was a bit worried because of the reviews and rating but i really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it and would go again. Schnitzel is great, pizza is decent, garlic soup is great (maybe different than the typical recipe but very nice nonetheless)
La pizza esta muy rica, se nota que es masa casera y los ingredientes son frescos. El servicio muy bueno, muy atento en todo el momento. El ambiente tranquilo y muy acogedor. Un buen sitio donde resguardarse del frio y disfrutar de una buena pizza. Excelente.
Mi őszintén szólva nagyon kellemeset csalódtunk. Az első meglepetés az volt hogy tele volt (azért az jelent valami). A kiszolgálással sem volt semmi baj, kedves, mosolygós bolt a pincérnő. Pizzát rendeltünk és százszor jobb volt mint vártuk.

sehr sehr nette und kompetente Bedienung... essen schmeckt super..alles sehr sauber..wir kommen immer wieder gern zu euch...
Pizzen sind ausgezeichnet, bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell. War sehr zufrieden mit allem .
War echt gut, der geschmack ist mir wichtig, wer was anderes sagt, soll nochmal nachdenken
