Finally got to participate in Sunday Dinner (Italian Beef Hoagies); from out of town but still have family in Chattanooga. Finally had an opportunity to stop by and thoroughly enjoyed the environment and food. The restaurant was filled, but still had the opportunity to snag a seat. I know the hoagie isn't a regular item but they were fantastic. My wife and I just finished watching The Bear and this is what we imagined their sandwiches tasted like in the show. We also got to have the fried risotto with pimento cheese and found the flavors to be unique and savory, especially with the tomato sauce and olive oil dip/sauce. To top off the meal we got to have the tiramisu and it was freakin' aweso...
Now, let’s talk about the AMAZING firewood oven-baked pizzas! What makes the experience even better is that you can see the pizzas being made right in front of you. I ordered the Bianca and added some mushrooms, and WOW, it was absolutely delicious! It had the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, seasonings, and oils. Often, when you add extra toppings, they skimp on the amount, but they piled on the mushrooms, making my taste buds incredibly happy! My daughter ordered the pepperoni pizza and exclaimed, “This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!” My other daughter tried the Sweet Thai Chicken and described it as “complex with unique flavors.” Seriously, stop whatever you’re doing and head...
Food was good. Service was great. Phong was wonderful to talk with and extremely joyful, even at the end of the night. It's definitely not a franchise.....very local, very quaint and cozy. Prices were right at expectations. Sitting outside was neat due to a good mild temperature at night. It's a very nice place to eat. Kid-friendliness: Very easy going. Had my son there. Nothing being said or done by staff or patrons that would be inappropriate for kids.
We hired Pizzeria Cortile to cater a party for 30 people, and it was fantastic! Brittany was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Justin and Andrew arrived with their wood-burning oven on a trailer, and the pizzas tasted just as amazing as if we were at the restaurant! We had four different types of pizza, and there was more than enough for everyone. Everyone at the party had rave reviews! I highly recommend Pizzeria Cortile. Réservez une table maintenant
Excellence from start to finish. Great pizza, they source their ingredients locally wherever possible (including their garden out back), great beer cocktail list, and fantastic service. Their Sunday dinner sounds incredible. This place would hold upwell in any major city but here it is doing great things in a small town.
Amazing best crust we have had in a very long time! And we love the mix of traditional and non traditional pizzas. Sweet Thai chili was crazy, and the Hot Chick was fantastic. Already planning our next visit to this local gem! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
