Small intimate setting. Excellent Italian food. This was the best food i had in Frankfurt during my week stay. It was the best Italian food i have had anywhere in the USA.. I can no longer be satisfied with what i can find at home. Da Michele's menu was extensive and creative. It would have been nice to have one menu in English. However, everyone there -including customers, were helpful in picking out what we should have to eat. Their choices were exactly what i like. The chef was very pleasant and visited our table many times. Though i couldn't speak the local language somehow we managed to communicate. The wine and grappa flowed abundantly. Grazie Elio! Pizza is simply delicious, dough perfectly raised and cooked, it does not keep expanding in your stomach afterwards or give you a thirsty night. High quality ingredients, freshly cut ham and sliced parmesan make all the difference. My wife is Italian and real picky if not critical when it comes to Italian restaurants. I also recommend the grilled baby calamari, so tender and juicy as well as home made pasta as they do it in Calabria (call ahead to order, it is a real treat), you cannot go wrong with this Italian owned operated Pizzeria. It is cozy and real popular, so reservations are recommended. Buon appetito!

Nach 3 Jahren kelsterbach unser Stamm Italiener geworden. Pizza aus dem Holz Ofen und genau so schmeckt sie auch, sehr lecker. Pasta und Salat sind auch schmackhaft.Die al forno Gerichte sind alle mit einer Menge Käse überbacken, genau so mag ich es.Hatte bis jetzt noch nie was zu bemängeln, ganz klar empfehlenswert!

Delicious pizza and very friendly service. We were there with our very large family and they handled it very graciously including a bunch of little kids.

Riesen Pizza sowie sehr große Portion Pasta ( für meine Verhältnisse bissi zuviel des guten ) aber dennoch sehr lecker immer wieder gern :)
