Due to other places being closed on account of the summer break, we decided to go to Da Toni, which is close to home, but which I had not been to since about Despite this being the late period of we were not...asked to leave our contact details, NOR were we asked if we'd been tested or vaccinated. unfortunately we couldn't eat in the restaurant first. contempt: we have already ordered pizza here and this is delicious. So eating is good. This bad review refers to our (non-)experience in the restaurant.We wanted to go to this evening for lunch, not just order. our dog always comes to the restaurant. never, we never had problems about it somewhere. we don't know a single restaurant where dogs are not allowed. he is brav below the table and sleeps.We were told that the dog should not be allowed to go into the normal restaurant area. to make it short ... service really bad, unfriendly - you felt like in a quick snack. toni (the chef) mega unfriendly ... came to the table ... "who has a problem here." when we said that we wished a break between the pre- and main dish ... mozarella was over and bitter ... seafood salad has tasted after nothing. main dish: meat was like leather. dayliatelle boiled, salmone boiled. sosse tasteless... all around a catastrophe this local! never again! happy ostern!
in the beer garden you can sit very nice that locally is unfortunately not accessible for wheelchairs. the service is very friendly and attentive. the pizza was rather medium, but the fish and meat dishes are grilled on Fridays and Saturdays outside in the pergola area on the wood grill and are very delicious. I find the price/performance ratio absolutely appropriate. :-)

I visited this restaurant, while on a business trip. My colleague joined me from Italy. The nearest restaurant, happened to be Italian. But the place is clean, friendly welcome, and good plate of pasta with out waiting too long for it. If I was in...the area again I would eat here again. The staff seem to speak italian and English.
I was with the family in da toni. we got two pizzen, Puerto-Pasta dishes and a second. the first two were well seasoned with a good sauce. the second was good. the pizza was not so great because they didn't use a mozzarella, but a kind of cheese that gets brown when cooking. overall, I would say good. prices of the 15 euro.
we ordered salat and pasta. salat ok, noodles without much taste. my order was only pasta and tomato sauce, I make it better to house. carbonara ok, but made with acidic cream. Anyway, I should have tasted the pizza, because pasta is a total catastrophe. Maybe one day we try the pizza.
always when we are in backnang we visit there toni and are as always very satisfied as well, no matter whether pizza or meat dishes everything is fresh and tasty prepared we come again and again
