Pizzeria Giuseppe

We sat outside for lunch here twice and had pizza. Loved it! The restaurant is upstairs I think and the café downstairs basically does pizza and ice cream. Very simple menu, there's a choice of about 5 or 6 pizzas and that's it. We asked about chips but they don't do them. It was great pizza, we had two great lunches.Only criticism is the parasols are all orange, which meant everything was kinda tinted orange in the strong afternoon sun, but you can't have everything.

We shared a pizza here. Service was offhand and unfriendly. When our pizza arrived it was luke-warm and had obviously been left out before being brought to us. Mediocre wine. Pizza was edible but the ingredients had just been slapped on carelessly. When we paid, our waiter decided to withhold 15,% presumably as his tip. We asked for this back because the service had been so poor.

Had the carpaccio for starters and frutti di mare pasta for main course. Both were good according to what to expect in a genuine italian restaurant. Tartuffe for dessert was delicious as well. Highly recommendable.

Lovely thin crust pizza. well located in the centre of town. Full of families. Saw a family with a small dog at next table, so doggy friendly too.

The best pizzas in town, and also nice pasta dishes. All at affordable prices and with a kind service.
