Pizzeria La Pineta

We stopped by for lunch, and we had almost an hour to spare. Turns out, you need more time if you want to have a pizza lunch at La Pineta. We sat down, placed our drink orders, and were scoffed at for not knowing our food orders yet. At that point, we had had less than a minute of looking at the menu. We then walked to the bar to place the food order, as the waiter did not return to the table. Then we waited 40 minutes for the pizza to arrive. That being said, the pizza was delicious. If I am in the mood for a really slow dinner, I would even consider going there again. For lunch, this is unacceptable. We had to return to the bar to pay, as no waiter ever returned, just like he never bothere...

Upon entering the place it looks and feels Italian. I ordered an Italian mixed starter or Affetato misto that was really nice and in a big portion. Fresh cheeses, salamis and prosciuto found a perfect mix with the olives, mushrooms and salad. The also quite large portion of tortelini was nice. The filling of the tortellini was perfect but the sauce could have been more spicy, it was a bit flat. A good glass of Sicilian wine was good company. The pizza oven invited to order pizza, but the previous dishes were so abundant that I finished with a espresso and a grappa.

Have been here many times before, still the best italian I know in town! Meat from france, wine from bella italia and Service in german manner! Indoor beautiful italian style, outdoor in the back away from the streets (if you like to eat next to the street, they have two outdoor areas, one is in front of the restaurant, the bigger other one is in the back). You will be happy after trying it out, believe me. Greets to ore, the Chef!

You'd be forgiven for walking past this back street Italian but once you're inside its a different story.Quaint little restaurant with pizza oven in viiew. Both ordered pizza and in no time were presented with our authentic specialities. So big I only managed half but the jolly waitress offered to package the other half...supper taken care of Seems to be a big hit with office workers out for a quick bite for lunch. I recommend! Cheap, and really good. It is a very good italian restaurant. Not a lot of choices in the card however it is really good. Enough choices for me. It took a pizza and it was really good. One of the best pizza I ever eat in Germany. Please go and try as there is not that much good restaurant in Rodgau.

I am coming at least twice a week to la Pineta. Haven't had a single disappointing experience. Really good food. Also some specials, that the cook offers that are not listed on the menu. Pizza is fantastic. The prices are a sensation. You need to go there.

We had dinner a couple of times at the restaurant La Pineta, both pizza and pasta with real italian taste, convenient price and kind service. Visit it if you want some good time with girlfriend or family, I will come back for sure!

Good choice of pizza's, wood burning oven, in summer a small terrace in the back. Very nice atmosphere, good and friendly service, real Italian. Occasionally a grappa on the house. Réservez une table maintenant
