Pizzeria La Rosa - Réservation de table

I am trying real hard to like this restaurant, but after 3 attempts, I can only give La Rosa 2 stars.The portions are extremely small for the price. I recently ordered, what I thought was a substantial amount of food for 5 adults and the employee who took my order confirmed the quantity of main side dishes would more than enough to feed a group of 5. She couldn’t have been more incorrect! When I opened the containers, I said “You have got to be kidding me.” The pizza restaurant we frequent in town, put La Rosa to shame.To add insult not only was the penna vodka dry and tasteless, but they used rigatoni pasta for penna vodka! The FOOD: 5 out of 5! Chef's kiss! Ingredients all fresh menu is simply simple!!! The pizza, YUM!!! They have special nights as well... THURSDAY nights SMASH BURGER!!! I mean you need to just have one or two!!!! Best burger in Westchester, in my opinion.The SERVICE: completely attentive, 5 out 5!The ATMOSPHERE: The space itself is just nostalgic... Same pizza oven my entire life!!! The energy in there with the indie/surf rock alternative music and lively staff...It's a vibe, YOU CAN'T GO WRONGThe MATT: He is the MAN, food GOLD!!!!picture just does not do this SPECIAL justice!!!! The food at Pizzeria La Rosa is simply the best. From the mozzarella to the rigatoni alla vodka to the pizza to the ITALIAN DOUGHNUTS (best in my opinion) you will not be disappointed. They’re always trying new things and some truly wonderful specials. Matt and the entire team always make you feel at home. If you haven’t checked this place out, you’re truly missing out on the best.

This is a statement against interest as I feel like this pizzeria is flying under the radar which means I can get a table right away. So here it is is: this is the only pizzeria in Westchester that doesn't make you miss Johnny's. Amazing pies, salad, brocollini. The list goes on. And some good wines by the glass! Amazing! Great pizza and cocktails. Wood-fired thin crust crispy. Pies only no slices. 14in makes for a largish personal pan pizza. Will be back for Smash Burger Thursday. Parking: Limited on-street parking but they have a lot around the corner 11 Allard Ave.

The pizza was mediocre a little bit flavorless but definitely tasted fresh. The eggplant Parmesan was excellent. The sodas were flat, no carbonation at all.

Hands down best pizza I’ve ever had. I grew up in the former Pizza Capital of Westchester and this place brought back happy memories of that old world.
