Based on Tripadvisor review, where Pizzeria Nino is Rated Best Pizzeria in Beauvais I decided to give it a try. That was a misstake. The Pizzeria interior & athmosphere is nothing to write home about, I would rate it 4 of 10. Service is the best of the diciplines on this Pizzeria, order is taken swiftly, and Pizza is quick on the table. I ordered Pizza Nino, means Cheese, Tomatosauce, Bacon & one egg. The Bacon was of fair quailty....Pizza was small, did not entierly fill the plate, which was SMALL 27 Cm, The Bread was thick, and had a very strange taste, which must come from the wheat flour. Unpleasant & dominent taste, tomato sause is little & have zero taste, you can see it but that´s all. Cheese, quite a lot, but lowest quality you can buy. The combination of a lot bread & low quality industrial "cheese" makes the pizza grow in your mouth by every bit you take. Taste 1/10. 9,90 € for this small & untasty pizza, & 5€ for 1 lit San Pellegrino water, is a true "Rip Off". Value for Money 2/10. In Beauvais, there is a lot of good things to eat, High Quality meat from the award winning local butcher, fantasic sandwiches, great crepes.... If you absolutely must have a pizza, buy a frozen Dr.Oetker at the supermarket, it taste much better & cost less than half.
We have visited just last night. What an amazing experience. One of those hidden gem, small restaurants with amazing charm. Got there by accident, our 3 year old Daughter wanted to eat some Italian food, so we detoured to Beauvais city center on our way to Beauvais-Tillé airport.I’m so glad we did, food was amazing, very well presented, reasonably priced and so tasty! We all loved our pasta and pizza dishes. Service and waiters were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant have an amazing courtyard where you can enjoy nice weather. In our case sunset dinner.We will be back in heartbeat! I can’t recommend it enough!
We were staying in Beauvais on our way to Calais. We decided to try this restaurant in spite of the poor reviews. We were shown to the outside seating area and we had a very acceptable, good value and tasty meal. There were three adults and a five year old and the staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful to all of us. The restaurant filled up quite quickly, so is considered good value by the locals.
